Q Cupping Essentials teaches students the cupping skills they need to properly evaluate specialty coffee quality. The course can be completed as a stand-alone course or as preparation for the Q Grader Training & Exam Course -- the pathway to earning Q Certification.
This course is geared toward anyone who is interested in evaluating specialty coffee. Students will become familiar with the SCA Cupping form and protocols for properly cupping coffee. It also covers olfactory evaluation and green coffee grading.
